# Arca Apps

> Enable and manage optional workspace features through the Arca Apps catalog.

Arca Apps is a catalog of optional features that can be turned on or off per workspace. Each app adds a specific capability to your workspace; enabling one makes it immediately available to all members. Disabling it removes it from the interface without deleting any data.

## Open Arca Apps

Go to **Settings > Arca Apps**. The catalog is organized by category so you can quickly find what you are looking for.

## Permissions

Only workspace **Owners** and **Admins** can enable or disable apps. Members and other roles can see the catalog but cannot make changes.

## Enable or disable an app

Each app card has a toggle. Click it to enable or disable the app for your workspace.

<Note>
  Some apps are always on and cannot be disabled. These are core features that all workspaces rely on. Their toggle is locked with an "Always on" label.
</Note>

When you enable an app, it becomes active immediately. Any sidebar entries or interface elements for that app appear for all workspace members right away.

## App details

Click the image or name on any app card to open a detail view with a full description of what the app does. This is useful before enabling something unfamiliar.

## Paid apps

Some apps in the catalog have a price. When you enable a paid app, you are prompted to complete a purchase through Stripe. After payment, the app is activated for your workspace. Paid apps show their pricing and billing interval on the card.

## Plan limits

Some apps are free to enable but have usage limits that vary by plan. Your current plan's limits are shown inside the app when you reach them; you can upgrade from **Settings > Billing** to increase them.
