Preferences are saved per device and apply only to you. Changes take effect immediately, no save button needed.
To open your preferences, go to Settings > Preferences in the sidebar.
Appearance
Theme
Choose how Arca looks on your device. Options: System (follows your OS setting), Light, or Dark.
First day of week
Set which day your calendar week starts on. Options: Sunday, Monday, or Saturday.
Click Customize to choose which sections and items appear in your sidebar. See Sidebar customization for details.
You can also access sidebar customization by right-clicking any whitespace in the sidebar and choosing Customize sidebar from the context menu.
Show task counts in lists
When enabled, each list in the sidebar shows the number of open tasks next to its name.
Tasks
Default view
Choose how tasks are displayed when you open a list. Options: List or Board.
Group tasks by
Group tasks in list view by a common field. Options: No grouping, By assignee, By status, or By priority.
Sort tasks by
Control the default order of tasks in list view. Options: Name, Create date, Due date, or Priority.
Show completed tasks
When enabled, completed tasks are shown inline alongside active ones. Disable this to hide completed tasks and keep the list focused.

Usage analytics
When enabled, Arca sends anonymous usage data to help improve the app. No personal data or task content is ever shared.
