Exporting generates a CSV file containing all tasks from the workspaces you select. You can open it in a spreadsheet, share it with stakeholders, or import it into another tool.

Export your workspace

Open Settings

Go to Settings > Import / export in the sidebar and scroll to the Export section.

Select workspaces

Check the workspaces you want to include in the export. Only workspaces where you are the owner or admin appear in this list.

Download the file

Click Export to generate and download the CSV file to your computer.

What the export includes

The CSV contains all tasks from the selected workspaces, with these columns: task ID, title, description, workspace, folder, list, status, priority, assignees, labels, due date, start date, created date, updated date, and task dependency relationships (related to, blocking, blocked by, and subtask of).

When to export

  • Regular backups: keep a periodic snapshot of your tasks
  • Reporting: pull task data into a spreadsheet for custom analysis or stakeholder reports
  • Migration: move your tasks to another tool or archive a completed project
  • Before deleting: always export before deleting a workspace
You can only export once every 7 days. Plan ahead if you need a fresh export before making large changes.
