Arca includes AI-powered writing actions that appear right inside the task editor. Select any text and instantly rewrite it in a different tone, make it more concise, or generate a quick summary without leaving the task.

How to use AI actions

1

Open a task

Open any task that has a description. You can do this by clicking on a task from a list or board view.
2

Select text

Highlight a sentence, or a full paragraph in the task description. A floating toolbar will appear above your selection.
3

Click the sparkles icon

In the floating toolbar, click the ✦ sparkles button on the right side. This opens the AI actions menu.
4

Choose an action

Pick one of the available AI actions. Arca will replace the selected text with the AI-generated result.
AI actions are only available when text is selected in an editable editor. They do not apply to code blocks or images.

Monthly request limits

Each workspace member has a monthly quota of AI requests. The quota resets at the start of each billing period. You can check your remaining requests in the usage section of Arca sidebar.
When you reach your monthly limit, AI actions will be disabled until your quota resets. You will see a message prompting you to upgrade your plan if you need more requests.

Tips

For best results, select a complete sentence or paragraph before applying an AI action. Very short selections may produce less accurate rewrites.
  • You can undo an AI action immediately with Cmd+Z (Mac) or Ctrl+Z (Windows/Linux) if you prefer the original text.
  • AI actions are available in the task description editor, both when creating a new task and when editing an existing one.
  • The Summary action is especially useful for condensing long requirement descriptions before sharing a task with someone new. Make sure you use it for paragraphs only, as it may not work well on lists or other non-paragraph content.
