The sidebar is your navigation hub. Arca lets you customize it so you only see what you actually use, keeping it clean, short, and fast to navigate.
Open Settings
Go to Settings > Preferences in the sidebar.
Click Customize sidebar
Find the Customize sidebar option and click it.
Toggle items on or off
Enable or disable the sections and items you want to show or hide.
You can also access sidebar customization by right-clicking any whitespace in
the sidebar and choosing Customize sidebar from the context menu.
Personal layout
Sidebar customization is per-person; changes you make only affect your own sidebar. Your teammates keep their own layouts.
What you can toggle
The following sidebar items can be shown or hidden individually:
- Inbox: your notification centre
- Planned: all dated tasks grouped by due date
- Views: your saved workspace views
- Dashboards: charts and analytics (visible to admins and owners only)
Hide rarely-used items to keep your sidebar short and scannable. You can
always re-enable them from Preferences at any time.
