Keeping files attached to tasks means your team doesn’t have to dig through email threads, shared drives, or chat messages to find what they need. Everything relevant to a task lives with the task.

Add an attachment

Open a task and click the paperclip icon in the task sidebar. Select one or more files from your computer to upload.

Download or remove attachments

  • Supported file formats (images, PDFs, and similar) open in a preview popup when clicked. From there, use the Download button to save the file.
  • Unsupported formats are downloaded directly when clicked.
  • Use the delete action to remove an attachment you no longer need.

What to attach

  • Design files: mockups, specs, or screenshots for a visual or UI task
  • Reference documents: briefs, research, or requirements that give context to the assignee
  • Bug evidence: error logs, screen recordings, or reproduction steps for a bug report
  • Deliverables: completed work like reports, exports, or final assets submitted for review
Attachments are accessible to all workspace members who can view the task. Avoid uploading files that shouldn’t be shared with the full workspace.
